Conversely, clear-faced timber is selected for our entire Hardwood range, as well as any Redwood products receiving a translucent stain. This premium material guarantees an uninterrupted, natural wood grain without any visible structural joints disrupting the final finish.

We construct all Coluxor product lines using advanced multi-layered engineered timber. By layering the wood sections so the natural grains run in opposing directions, and entirely cutting away traditional flaws like knots and splits, we drastically enhance the structural strength of our frames.

Because these weak points are eliminated from key stress areas, this multi-layered design effectively stops the wood from twisting, warping, or bowing over time, guaranteeing a long-lasting, high-performing product.

Our softwood range is crafted from flaw-free, engineered Scandinavian Pine, available with a choice of either a seamless clear face or a finger-jointed outer layer. For our hardwood alternatives, we utilize premium, flaw-free laminated Dark Red Meranti, which features an entirely clear outer surface to emphasize its natural beauty.
